Coronavirus Update from Jewel

The Jewel team met to strategize about the 2020-21 school year. After reading the CDC recommendations for schools we have decided to focus our attention on self contained Cold Lunch delivery.
Over the next few months we will be revamping our menus with health and food safety as our main concerns. We want to make this transition as seamless as possible with each school's unique facility situations and staffing in mind.
We want to assure you that the pricing of lunches will stay within the present range while incorporating new items within the packaging. We want to add a small disinfecting hand wipe and disposable eating utensils in each container. For now we feel we must use a disposable container so that no virus contamination is brought back to our kitchens. We will store our reusable containers until it is safe to use them again.
It is our goal to purchase compostable or similarly eco friendly disposable containers and utensils to keep within our company's goals and practices.
